WHO ARE OUR SALMON SAVERS? | SEASIDE COFFEE HOUSE

When we launched our pilot version of Salmon Savers in 2023, Michelled Wunderlich, the owner and operator of Seaside Coffee House in downtown Seaside, was first in line to offer her support for our organization. Michelle has led the popular gathering spot for 14 years, giving a place for locals and tourists alike to enjoy a warm cup of coffee and conversation.

There’s plenty of room for quiet book reading, perhaps a good nonfiction piece about the perils of salmon and how we community can come together to protect habitat and place? Well, we digress. Michelle is sure to greet everyone entering or leaving, by name if she knows it, or with warmth as if she does.

“We need to take the time and take care of it…water is life”

- Michelle Wunderlich on why she stepped up to adopt the NWC under its Salmon Savers program.

House roasted beans so the coffee is always fresh, and a beautiful assortment of teas and baked goods, the coffee house is open 7 days a week, 6am-2pm on weekdays and 7am-2pm on weekends.

So when you stop in for a coffee, you can be sure you’re supporting local business that supports salmon habitat restoration.
